About me
Some people want to be an astronaut or a doctor when they grow up. I was a bit different in that respect, from an early age I wanted to speak English very well. I have always known I’d be a Polish & English translator and an interpreter when I grow up. And my childhood “dream” came true! I have almost 15 years of experience in translation and interpreting. I believe that learning is a life-long process, I’m always keen to gain new skills and learn new things. Doing my job allows me to do just that. That’s why I love it so much!
Conference interpreter
My experience as a Polish & English conference interpreter includes among others working at European Works Councils for different international companies (e.g. Cargill, Air Liquide, Caterpillar); town hall meetings (Burberry); pharmaceutical company meetings (BD); product launch meetings (Corteva) and various webinars.
Public sector interpreter
I have almost 15 years of experience in public service interpreting and translation. My specialisation is legal interpreting and translation. I have worked for HM Courts and Tribunals Services, various solicitors as well as Cambridgeshire Constabulary and other police forces. I have also interpreted for a number of City and County Councils, social services and the NHS.
Translator
I work with a wide range of texts from official and legal to promotional. I provide certified translations into English for the British institutions. As for the Polish institutions, I am registered as a sworn translator/interpreter (tłumacz przysięgły) for the Polish Ministry of Justice.

Services
Conference Interpreter
I provide both on-site conference interpreting and remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI) services. I am familiar with such platforms as Zoom, Interprefy, Interactio and MS Teams. My experience includes interpreting at various European Works Councils for a number of large international companies such as Air Liquide, Caterpillar or Cargill, town hall meetings, kick-off meetings, product launch meetings and webinars. I have also had the privilige to interpret at the inauguration of the new interpreting suite at London Metropolitan University.
Legal & Certified Translator
My translation experience is very varied from offical and legal documents to medical reports to promotional materials and website content. I provide certified translations both for the British and Polish institutions. I am a sworn translator (tłumacz przysięgły) registered with the Polish Ministry of Justice.
Public Service Interpreter
Over 15 years I have gained extensive experience in interpreting in a wide variety of contexts such as court and tribunal hearings, suspect and witness interviews, solicitor consultations, legal visits at prisons, various medical appointments, consultations and procedures, mental health assessments, psychotherapy sessions, crisis team appointments, child assessments carried out by social services, home visits, child protection inquiries, child protection conferences, children in need meetings, adoption meetings, appointments at local councils regarding housing advice and options, homelessness applications, housing benefits, fraud prevention.
Transcription services
I provide mono and bilingual transcription services. My experience in this field includes a wide range of topics.
Fees
Each interpreting assignment and translation project will be priced individually. For conference interpreting it will depend on the location, duration of the interpreting assignment and the preparation time needed. For translation projects, it will depend on the complexity of the text, the volume, whether it is a certified translation or not. Please note I will need to see the text before pricing it up.
